Re: Multicamera Proxy Export not Using original Files?

Those ProRes files are a lot higher quality than an H.264 file.

ProRes is an intraframe codec, meaning every frame is complete just conpressed.

H.264 is long-GOP, so there's only a complete frame land highly compressed) every 9-30 frames. All 'frames' in between are merely data sets of pixels that have or will change since previous or next i-frame, or both.

Cineform, ProRes, and DNxHD/R are the better ones at retaining quality especially at higher settings.
